Die Tour führte uns durch den schönen Frühjahrsspessart mit seinen lieblichen, jungen Blättern an den Buchenbäumen.

 Vorbei an religiösen Monumenten wie der Fatimakapelle, Mariengrotte, Alzenauer Pilgerweg, um nur ein paar zu nennen. Auch hatten wir den Spessart scheinbar für uns alleine, kein Wanderer säumte den Weg, nur hier und da ein Reh, welches scheu durch die Flur huschte. Und nicht zu vergessen, das romantische Picknick, im Stehen, oberhalb eines sprundelnden Bächleins im heimeligen Hemsbachtal. Bemerkenswert die Unterschiedlichkeit der Bekleidung unseres Teams: während Edmund kurz und kühl wie immer, Spritzschutz natürlich verpöhnt, verbarg Andreas selbst den Rucksack unter seinem Regenmäntelchen, Peter seine Helm unter einem Häubchen und Christian sein Handy unter einer dicken Plastikfolie. Und noch etwas Bemerkenswertes: Keiner Stürtze, keiner gab dem schmierseifernden Boden nach, trotz des gewohnt hohen Tempos. Und für das schlechte Wetter konnte nun wirklich keiner etwas.
